Yes, it really is 2:30 AM...

I am sitting in the SICU at 2:30 in the morning waiting for a family to arrive for a patient who is trying to die...of course, with my free time I am blog browsing and this is what I came up with...

Got this off of my dear friend Alissa's blog...

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember--it can be funny, weird, awkward, random, etc.!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

One of my favorite memories was in the 2nd year physical diagnosis class. We were practicing heart exams on each other, and you, with all the professionalism of an established physician, said, "I am now going to palpate your chest for thrills." You then realized how that sounded, and we all busted up laughing. Fun, fun, times.

When I started junior high, I would wake up early enough to catch you getting ready. Since we shared a bathroom I would get the pleasure of seeing you topless sitting on the counter doing your hair and make up every day. What a sad day it was when you got married and moved out. I enjoy your visits because you never fail to get ready topless in which I think every brother in law has seen. Thanks for the entertainment and memories hope I didn't embarrass you. Love you!

no Brady said.... My favorite memory was spending the night with you.... um.... that doesn't sound right..... What I mean is spending the night shadowing you on your trauma rotation and seeing the nutty stuff you see on a daily basis..... Oh, I also enjoy when her and Todd have their little medical arguments, you crack me up. Watching two really smart people argue is like watching two chinese ping pong players competing for their olympic squad.... your neck get sore after all the back and forth.

I have so many great memories...family trips, track meets, hiking in the Wind Rivers, etc. You are a wonderful daughter, an excellent physician and surgeon, and a beautiful woman. Keep up the good work and stay out of the shops and malls.

Sweet Megan-----way too many memories to choose just one but I will try. Probably the most recent memory that sticks out to me is your 30th birthday when grandma and I totally surprised you by arriving in Los Angeles without you knowing. Your reaction truly was priceless....from surprise, to confusion, to happiness, to your tearful breakdown because it meant so much to you. I will always remember that experience. Of course I have to mention the first time I held you in my arms with your sweet little face looking at me and all that head of beautiful red hair......this was the first time I had a glimpse of how much our Heavenly Father loves us because I had that kind of love for you-----and it has happened with each of your siblings too-----pure love.....lots and lots of good memories.

I do I choose just one. Well, I love that you are such an amazing aunt to my boys. I love that you cherish the time you get to spend with them and I love that they look forward to your visits. Thanks for being a great sister and aunt. I love you.

I meant how do I choose just one, sorry for the typo. It is way to late to be commenting on blogs.

I remember living with your family every summer and you felt like my little sister and we would do everything together. I would take you swimming, bike riding, play dolls! Every memory with you is the best. You always make me laugh with your crazy stories and ditto on Laurels comment. Enclude me in that memory too. Love you so much Meg!!!!!

I remember all the fun times playing together as young kids. Favorite memory...Our mom's driving us to the Micheal Jackson concert in Dever 1980's something. We drove to look over Mile High Stadium and piled on top of the van to catch a glimpse. We were all so excited. I remember being so sad when y'all moved from Denver to South Carolina. I remember coming to stay with y'all during my breaks from Ricks and having fun talks with you and Em. Love ya!
